To access the “Returns authorization” click the button in the top menu.
Once “Returns authorization” is enabled your customer will be able to submit return requests. These will appear in the “to be approved” tab.
You can “Edit and approve” a request with the “Actions Button” under the Actions column.
This button will allow you to View, Approve, Edit and Reject various requests from the customer.
The view allows you access to all information the customer entered regarding his return request. The customer has this same screen where he or she can double check the information.
Like the overview, you have access to the actions button in this screen (top right).
Edit and Approve
Edit and approve looks a lot like the approve view. The major exceptions are highlighted in the image below.
Do you need to Reject a Return authorization request? Use the Magic Returns button in the overview and select the Reject option.
Like the view screen this screen gives you access to detailed information about the return. The main difference is the buttons that all have a different purpose:
- The black arrow (1) allows you to open an Order or a Product (or line) from a return request for various details.
- The Green button (2) allows you to edit an product (or line) based on the information in the available fields.
- The red button (3) allows you to reject a specific product or product line from the return, without outright rejecting the whole return
After pressing the green approve button, you can finish the approval and RMA creation process. The system requires you to double check if the shipment type the user pre-selected is correct.
The screen you will be see will be similar to the one below, with the shipment options differing for your specific setup.
Select the shipping method
The Agent that can double check what the customer views as the most optimal form of shipment, but can overrule this from the options he has. In the image above this is the only option, but this can differ in your configuration.
We will email the documents to the customer at once, so they can start their shipment process. You won’t have to do any manual actions for this process.
